Alice in wonderland

Inspired by the universe of Alice in Wonderland, this 2024 work features a drawing signed by Mihai Ionescu, with the painting executed by Emanoil Marinescu. The proposed vision is surreal and deeply symbolic: the clock, covered in roots, suggests the collapse of order, while the scattered playing cards evoke chaos and chance. Nature forcefully reclaims its place, silently conquering an abandoned world where fantasy fades into a melancholic post-human setting.
