We consider ensuring the right to the protection of personal data a fundamental commitment of TdV; therefore, we will devote all necessary resources and efforts to process your data in full compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“General Data Protection Regulation” or “GDPR”), as well as any other legislation applicable in Romania. Since one of the essential principles of this legal framework is transparency, we have prepared this document to inform you about how we collect, use, transfer, and protect your personal data when you interact with us in connection with our products and services, including through our website or the applications available on mobile devices.
We reserve the right to periodically update and amend this Privacy Policy to reflect any changes in the way we process your personal data or any changes in legal requirements. In case of such changes, we will display on our website the updated version of the Privacy Policy; therefore, we kindly ask you to check the content of this Policy periodically.

Tablouri de Vis is the trade name of SC Oriental International Business SRL, a Romanian legal entity with its registered office in Bucharest, Strada Intrarea Godeni no. 14, sector 6, registered with the Trade Registry under no. J40/6744/2010, fiscal identification code 27173305 (hereinafter referred to as “TdV” or “we”). Under data protection legislation, we act as a data controller when processing your personal data.

What categories of personal data we process
In general, we collect your personal data directly from you, so you have control over the type of information you provide. For example, we receive information from you as follows:
When you create a TdV account, you provide: e-mail address, first and last name;
In your personal page (My Account) within the TdV platform, you may add additional information, such as: photo, nickname, mobile phone number, delivery addresses, alternative e-mail address, etc.;
When placing an order, you provide information such as: the desired product, first and last name, delivery address, billing details, payment method, phone number, etc.
We may also collect and subsequently process certain information about your behavior during visits to our website or when using our mobile app, in order to personalize your online experience and provide you with tailored offers. On our website and in the mobile app, we may store and collect information in cookies and similar technologies, in accordance with the Cookie Policy.
We do not collect or otherwise process sensitive data included by the GDPR in special categories of personal data. We also do not intend to collect or process data from minors under the age of 16.
What are the purposes and legal grounds of processing

We constantly strive to provide you with the best online shopping experience. To achieve this, we may collect and use certain information regarding your purchasing behavior, invite you to complete satisfaction surveys after placing an order, or conduct—either directly or with the help of partners—market studies and research. How long we keep your personal data
As a general rule, we will store your personal data for as long as you have an account on the TdV platform. You may request the deletion of certain information or the closure of your account at any time, and we will comply with such requests, subject to retaining certain information even after the account has been closed, in situations where applicable law or our legitimate interests require it.
To whom we disclose your personal data
As the case may be, we may disclose or grant access to certain personal data of yours to the following categories of recipients:
courier service providers;
payment/banking service providers;
marketing/telemarketing service providers;
market research service providers;
insurance companies;
IT service providers;
other companies with which we may develop joint programs to market our goods and services.

Currently, we store and process your personal data on the territory of Romania.

How we protect the security of your personal data
We are committed to ensuring the security of personal data by implementing appropriate technical and organizational measures, in line with industry standards.
The transmission of your personal data is done using state-of-the-art encryption algorithms and we store it on secure servers, while also ensuring data redundancy.
Any information regarding payments or the actual website is encrypted, using HTTPS technology with TSL 1.2 encryption.
Despite the measures taken to protect your personal data, we draw your attention to the fact that the transmission of information via the Internet, in general, or via other public networks, is not completely secure, and there is a risk that the data may be seen and used by unauthorized third parties. We cannot be responsible for such vulnerabilities of systems that are not under our control.

Identity. We take the confidentiality of all records containing personal data seriously. For this reason, please send us your requests regarding such records using the email address associated with your TdV account. Otherwise, we reserve the right to verify your identity by requesting additional information aimed at confirming your identity.
Fees. We will not charge a fee to exercise any right regarding your personal data, except where your request for access to information is unfounded, repetitive, or excessive, in which case we will charge a reasonable amount under such circumstances. We will inform you of any fees applied before processing your request.
Response time. We aim to respond to any valid requests within a maximum of one month, unless this is particularly complex or if you have made multiple requests, in which case we will respond within a maximum of two months. We will let you know if we need more than one month. We may ask you if you can tell us exactly what you would like to receive or what concerns you have. This will help us act faster and shorten the response time to your request.
Third-party rights. We are not required to comply with a request where it would adversely affect the rights and freedoms of other data subjects.
